We provide engineering services on product design, material/processing selection and evaluation, modeling and simulations, and prototyping, with an on-time delivery and a customer-satisfaction commitment, for

(1) Various medical components and devices (e.g. feed through, headers, sensors, medical implants) which oftentimes involves the joining of biocompatible ceramics and metals together; and
(2) Microwave/RF components, devices and packages (e.g. optical modulator, photodetector, connectors) that may also involve metallization, soldering/brazing, and other microfabrication process.

Over recent years, Bioenno Electronics has utilized well-established technology for in-house manufacturing, which include

(1) Hermetic seal (ceramics to metal brazing and glass to meal seal);
(2) Feedthroughs, connectors and headers; and
(3) Electro-optical window assemblies.

In terms of in-house technologies along with know-hows manufacturing accumulated over years, it is well acknowledged that Bioenno Electronics is among the best that can provide joining between ceramic to metal, using either a metal (braze) or a ceramic (or glass) in-between, nothing in-between (direct bonding).

The materials involved include:

(1) Ceramics such as oxides (alumina, sapphire, zirconia), nitrides, borides, carbides,
(2) Carbon such as diamond, graphene, carbon nanotubes and graphite products,
(3) Metals (e.g. steel, Ti, Nitinol alloy, Mo, W, Ni, Cu, Pt, Pd, Nb, Ir), and
(4) Semiconductors (Si, Ge, SiGe, TiO2, AlN, SiC, GaN).

Over recent years, Bioenno Electronics has also teamed with its strategic collaborators, University of California, Irvine, SUNY, Aegis Technology (DBA: complete hermetic), and Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory for new technology/product development.

Bioenno Electronics has provided a wide spectrum of R&D services. The scope of our R&D work includes:

Design (e.g. structure design, material selection/development);
Modeling and analysis
Engineering and Prototyping (e.g. processing selection and development)
Pre-production or pilot-scale Manufacturing
Characterizations and Testing
Technical Commercialization
